Annie Banks

Annie Elizabeth Banks, 79, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. A native of Buncombe County, Mrs. Banks was the daughter of the late Welzy and Beulah Mae Thompson Banks. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Walker and two brothers, Lloyd Erwin Banks and Royce Banks. Mrs. Banks is survived by her husband, Lester Banks, daughters, Doris Ann Walker and husband, Joe and Karan Kay Hall and husband, Scott, sisters, Joyce Smith, Leona Pace, Faye Fender and Ruby Johnson, granddaughters, Beth Banks and Kaylyn Chandler and husband, Adam, great grandson, Hayden Scott Banks and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday July 6, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Davis and Rev. Jeff Massey officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Haywood County.
