Ann D. Robinson

Leicester Ann Wilde DeSanzo Robinson, 93, went to be with her Lord Saturday, July 14, 2012. A native of Madison County, she lived most of her life in Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late Eldridge Miller and Cora Lee Fender Wilde. Mrs. Robinson retired in 1980 from Sears following 16 years of service and was a member of Newfound Baptist Church. Mrs. Robinson was the wife of the late William Ellis Bill DeSanzo who died in 1986 and the late Hicks Clarence Robinson who died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bertha Jones and Ruby Honeycutt and brother, Paul Wilde. Surviving are her sisters, Faye Lee Moneyham of Leicester, Thelma Wheeler of Hendersonville, Dale Bowman of Asheville and Kay Griffin of Marshall, step daughters, Carolyn Sprinkle and Kathy Ray, step sons, Michael and Jackie Robinson and a number of step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Newfound Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Moneyham, Rev. Charles Phillips and Rev. Jeff Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to: Newfound Baptist Church, P.O.
