Amy Sha Alicia Biddix Andrews, 44, left us to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her home. She was born in Columbia, SC and grew up in Asheville and Raleigh, NC. She was employed for 27 years with GlaxoSmithKline as a Project Specialist and was a member of Central UMC. She enjoyed planning parties and family reunions. She loved charities, golfing, surfing, clogging, spending time at the beach and mountains and any type of games involving family and friends. Her laughter was contagious and she could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She loved everyone and wanted to make sure everyone was ok. Her courageous and admirable battle with health issues was an inspiration for all. She had great faith and believed Gods mission for her was to help others in similar battles. The quote she lived by was Always be a little kinder than is necessary for everyone you meet that is fighting some kind of battle. She was loved by all and everyone is a little better for having known her. Mrs. Andrews was the beloved daughter of Bruce and Mary Biddix of Asheville. Surviving in addition to her parents are her loving husband whom shes been together with for 14 years, Samuel Andrews of Durham; brother, Chris Biddix of Asheville and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
