Amanda Taylor

Asheville Amanda Louise Taylor, 28, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Memorial Campus. A native and resident for most of her life of Buncombe County, Amanda attended New Harvest Church. She was a loving mother, and had a passion for life. She was friendly and outgoing, and always found a way to remain positive through troubling times. Amanda was an organ donor, and her spirit will live on through her selfless gifts to others. Amanda is survived by her mother and step-father, Suzette Taylor and Tim Adams; father, James Bryan Perry; sons: Tate and Jace Ratliff; former husband, Josh Ratliff; brother, Mitchell Perry; maternal grandparents: Mitchell and Donna Taylor; paternal grandmother, Susie Perry; great-grandmother, Nancy Leppert; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday at New Harvest Church, with the Rev. Daniel Rushing officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 7:30 PM Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Amanda Taylor Trust, for her sons, Tate and Jace Ratliff, C/O Atlanta Postal Credit Union, 591 Brevard Road, Asheville, NC 28806. Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the Taylor family.
