Columbus Alma Jean Wooten Hare, 79, of 230 Johnson Road, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Hare retired following 10 years of service with the Loom Product Company where she served in the Shipping Department and was a member of the Sunnyview Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Lloyd Holt Wooten and Martha Mae Lindsey Wooten. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Arnold Albert Hare of the home; daughters, Barbara Rice and Sharon Clark (Ray) all of Asheville; sons, Gary Hare (Nicki) of Grand Junction, CO and Brian Hare of Asheville; grandchildren, Laura Jarvis (Michael), Teri Clark (Tim), Jeremy Hare, Kimberly Hare, Tony Clark (Lindsey) and Matthew Hare; great grandchildren, Amanda Moore (Torrey), Amber Helton, Cody Bumgarner, Kali Kilby, Delorean Dixon, Alana Dixon and Braelyn Hare; sisters, Melba Howard (Dan) of Asheville and Irene Luther (Jimmy) of Fairview; brothers, Bill Wooten (Jean) and Harry Wooten (Sandra) all of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Hare and Rev. Willard Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Wednesday at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to: Eliada Home for Children, P.O.
