Allie Mae Parsons

Asheville Allie Mae Allen Parsons, 84, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. She had resided in Buncombe County for the past 62 years. She was a retired CNA, repaired sewing machines and was an avid Bingo player. Mrs. Parsons was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Agnes Allen and wife of the late Patrick Parsons. Surviving are her son, Ed Gibson and wife Vivian; daughter, Judy G. Bennett and grandsons, Rickey, Edwin Lil Ed and Nathan. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the cemetery.
