Alice Virginia Jackson

Asheville - Alice Virginia Lowe Brank Jackson, 91, of 624 Cowan Cove Road, died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at St. Josephs Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a member of Abernethy United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Silas James Lowe and Mary Louise Rector Lowe and wife of the late William Charles Jackson and the late Frank Bascombe Brank. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Brank Hall of Charlotte and son, Frank Lowe Brank of Asheville. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Sayer officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to services.
