Agnes Cornelia Revis

Weaverville - Agnes Cornelia Revis, 85, of 5 McLean Road passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her home following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was formerly employed with Vanderbilt Shirt Company and was a member of Coles Cove Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late W. O. and Martha Rice Duyck and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Duyck and Alma Buckner and brother, James Duyck. Surviving are her brothers, Harold Duyck of Asheville, Paul Duyck of Weaverville and Ronnie Duyck of Arden; 9 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Coles Cove Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Burchette and Rev. J.D. Deyton officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
