I met Amy Sue when I was about 7 years old. She and Brenda lived with us while Amy attended business school. That began a life long friendship. After my mom passed in 1974 she kept in touch to check on me. Those Sunday phone calls meant so much to me. As we would finish our conversation she would all ways say "now Kay you keep on working so you can help pay for my Social Security" and just laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor. I will truly miss those Sunday calls.

Amy has been one of my dearest friends for about 45 years. She will be greatly missed. She was always concerned for others before herself. Our family always looked forward to Amys famous chocolate cake for each holiday. We love Amy and her entire family. May God bless you all.
With love, Earline Engle and family

To the family and associates of Mrs. Amy Plemmons: I am very sorry for your loss. I would like to share a word of comfort during this sad time. According to Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God says He will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces. Isaiah 26:19 refers to a time when the dead will ride as well as John 5:28-29. May you find comfort in the promise of the resurrection back to an earthly life (Psalms 37:10-29).
