Emurytrude "Trudy" Surrett

Ana contributed this message on Tuesday, June 5, 2018:

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Trudy's passing. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I knew of her through her son Jamie. Jaime is a very close friend of mine, and tells me often that she was at the center of their family, guiding and loving them all. She taught her children well and I know they will continue to pass along the strength she gave to them. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Trudy was such a wonderful woman. I had the opportunity to visit with her just before she passed and she was still the Tarheel fan I remembered. I tried to always make her a Dukie but that was definitely not happening. I loved her sweet spirit and her kind ways. Trudy was a one of a kind and I will definitely miss her. God bless the family in this difficult time. May the memories you have shared carry you until you meet again.
