In remembrance of…
Beauford Welch

Ana contributed this message on Tuesday, May 8, 2018:

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

I never know what to say on these...

First, youre my Papaw (or Papau, depending on which granddaughter youre asking to spell.)
You raised three strong, wonderful children.
Two of these are my aunts. Theyre independent, ambitious, good Christians, and caring people. The third is my father, your only son. He says he was a lot like you as a father, which makes me laugh because you had such a soft spot for your granddaughters growing up, and he was tough as nails (that might have just been because of my teenage years....)
I remember boxing up Mica with you (I loved rocks and minerals growing up, and thought it was the coolest thing in the world when you showed me the Mica mines in the south.) I brought those mica pieces to class years later, showing off what we found.
You couldnt hear for anything on a telephone, but I remember sitting on the front porch of your house (the one is NC and TN) and thinking there wasnt a better view in the world. The pine trees you had in your backyard in North Carolina are the same kind that border my house in Howell, MI, and every time I take Kenna out back, when I smell that pine, I think of your home.
I wish you wouldve met Kendall. You wouldve liked him. Probably poked fun at him, but he would poked right back.
I will miss your laugh. There was so much soul in it. I dont think Ill ever forget the sound.

Ill see you again one day. Thank you, I love you, Im proud to carry on your legacy.

I am sorry for this loss. It is not easy or happy.
Your family is there to help, your friends are here to listen and help as much as you let us.
I am proud of the son you raised. He turned out to be a great man.
